Orientation (Portrait, Landscape, Auto)

Select Portrait, Landscape, or Auto (which evaluates each image aspect ratio automatically).

Margin Options (None, Small, Standard)

Engine: HTML5 Canvas & PDF Document Compiler
Speed: Instant client-side execution
Privacy: Photos never leave your phone or computer. 100% private in-browser conversion.

Technical Boundaries & Limits

High-Megapixel Mobile Photos

Modern smartphone cameras capture 48MP to 108MP photos. Uploading 30+ full-resolution photos can require more than 500MB of temporary canvas memory. On older devices, converting in batches of 15-20 photos prevents memory exhaustion.

Non-Standard EXIF Rotations

Some third-party camera apps record rotation in EXIF metadata tags without rotating physical pixel buffers. While our parser accounts for standard EXIF tags, unusual captures may require manual adjustment.

Color Space Conversions

Images in CMYK color space (from professional print software) are automatically translated to RGB color profiles for standard web and PDF viewing.

Mixed Image Resolutions

Combining low-resolution screenshots with high-resolution camera photos will retain their respective native resolutions within the standardized pages.

Frequently Asked Questions

What image formats are supported by the converter?

Printify Notes supports all standard image formats including JPG, JPEG, PNG, and modern WebP image files.

Which page size should I select for printing homework in India or Europe?

Select standard A4. In India, the UK, and Europe, standard office and home printers use ISO A4 paper (210 x 297 mm). Choosing A4 ensures your document prints without clipping.

Will my high-resolution photos get compressed or blurred during conversion?

Photos are embedded directly at their native resolution within the PDF page container. No destructive downsampling is applied unless you subsequently choose to compress the resulting file.

Why do some smartphone photos appear sideways and how does orientation handling work?

Smartphones frequently rely on internal gyroscope EXIF tags to indicate orientation. Our converter reads these EXIF orientation values and aligns photos correctly. Setting orientation to Auto automatically matches portrait or landscape layouts.

What is the difference between Fit to Image and A4 with Margins?

Fit to Image sizes each page to the exact dimensions and aspect ratio of your photo, leaving no white borders. A4 with Margins places your photo on a standard A4 sheet with clean margins suitable for physical printing.

Can I arrange the order of photos before generating the final PDF?

Yes. Once you select your images, simply drag and drop the preview cards in the interface to arrange your pages in the exact sequence you want.
